Cathay Kochikame Cosplay
(11th June 2002)
Hello minna-san, I'm here to announce a anime/ manga Cosplay co-organised by the SCC and Cathay to be held on Tuesday 11th June for 80 cosplayers only. MediaCorp will be there to do coverage for the launch of the animation film Kochikame and to interview the cosplayers.
Venue: Cathay Cineleisure(Level 5)
Time: 5.00 pm-9.00 pm
Admission: Free
Please come earlier to level 5 Cinecafe at 5.00 pm to meet a Cathay representative and me before proceeding to the changing rooms. You will be directed to some place to change. You can come even earlier if you want to.
At 6.00 pm please proceed back to Level 5 CINECAFE for a mini cosplay party. Refreshments and light finger foods are provided. Cathay has closed off the cafe area for cosplayers only. Cathay has also promised us a lounge to put our belongings if we do not want to carry it along with us.
After that we will proceed to watch a free screening of the newest animation film Kochikame at 7.00 pm, generously sponsored by Cathay Films. Note that the film is one and a half hours, please bring the neccesary staff you would require.
After the screening, please gather back the Level 5 CineCafe for a debriefing to thank everyone for their support.^.^
Criteria:
1) Any cosplayer is free to apply for a place but do take note that SCC members will get first priority in the availability of spaces
2) You must be dressed as an anime/manga/game character. Original costumes are not allowed as MediaCorp has been notifed by Cathay that it is to be an anime/manga/game Cosplay
3)No real weapons allowed for safety reasons.
4) If you do sign up for this, please make sure you can come. The tickets for the screening will be given out to you a few days beforehand.

Kochikame Poster Design Competition
To celebrate the launch of the animation film Kochikame, Cathay has organised a Poster Design Competition. Prizes include Kochikame figurines, Kinokuniya vouchers, movie tickets and posters!
